Snow heap number one Snow heap number one. The wall against which this heap is built is around 5' (1.5m) high. The lying snow depth can be seen along the front at about 1' (30cm).

Snow heap number two Snow heap number two. About 4' (1.2m) high and covering an area of about 36 sq feet (4 sq m). There is another snow heap to the back left of this photo again about 4' high but only about 8' (2.5m) long. The car behind the heap, and under 9" (22cm) of snow, is a Ford Fiesta.

Drifting snow Drifting snow on the Garrigill road below Howhill. Driving through that area was virtually a white out, rather unerving if something was to come the other way.

Icicles on house The house is also sporting a decent set of icicles. These are the second set to form, a slight thaw on the 26th December 2009 caused the previous set to drop off.
